Kagara abduction: Niger govt reveals identity of kidnapped Students, others

Niger State government has released names of the students, teachers and other staffers of Government Science College, Kagara abducted by notorious bandits.

The reports revealed that no fewer than 27 students of the college, teachers, two non teaching staff and 9 family members of the staff staying in the quarters were kidnapped on Wednesday morning.

The identity of the abducted students were given as: Jamilu Isah, Shem Joshua, Abbas Abdullahi, Isah Abdullahi, Ezekeil Danladi, Haliru Shuibu, Mamuda Suleman, Danzakar Dauda, Abdulsamad Sanusi, Bashir Abbas, and Suleman Lawal.

Others are, Habakuk Augustine, Idris Mohammed, Abdullahi Adamu, Musa Adamu, Abdulkarim Abdulrahman, Abubakar Danjumma, Abdullahi Abubakar, Bashir Kamalideen, Mohammed Salisu, Yusuf M Kabir, Polineous Vicente, Lawal Bello, Mohammed K Shehu, Isah Abdullah Makusidi, Mubarak Sidi and Abdulsamad Nuhu.

The names of abducted teachers are: Hannatu Philip, Lawal Abdullahi and Dodo Fodio while the non teaching staff are Faiza Mohammed and Mohammed Musa.

The abducted family members include: Christiana Adama, Faith Adama, Maimuna Suleman, Nura Isah, Ahmad Isah, Mohammed Mohammed, Khadizat Isah, Aisha Isah and Saratu Isah.

The name of the student killed by the bandits during their invasion was said to be Benjamin Habila.
