The Supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Action Democratic Congress (ADC) on Friday clashed in the Ondo West local government area, Ondo state.
According to report, scores of supporters of the two parties were injured during the fracas.
Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the clash and said that those injured have been hospitalized.
Speaking on the incident, Ondo APC chairman, Ade Adetimehin alleged that supporters of APC were attacked by ADC members who were campaigning in the area.
The clash led to the destruction of about 15 vehicles.

However, Adetimehin said that he had advised APC members not to retaliate but lay complain at the nearest police station.
