The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson and the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Junker said the two parties have agreed on a deal for Brexit.

Both leaders made this known in different tweets on their twitter handles on Thursday.

Junker in his tweet said, “We have one! It’s a fair and balanced agreement for the EU and the UK and it is testament to our commitment to find solutions.”

Johnson on his part tweeted, “We’ve got a great new deal that takes back control — now Parliament should get Brexit done on Saturday so we can move on to other priorities like the cost of living, the NHS, violent crime and our environment #GetBrexitDone #TakeBackControl.”

In spite of this development, the deal still needs to be back by EU member states and their respective parliaments.

Earlier on Thursday the Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party said it would not support the British Brexit Deal.
