COVID-19: Buhari receives Madagascar’s herbal medicine

F-L: President Muhammudu Buhari, Guinea Bissau’s President, Umaro Sissoco Embalo and Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama during Embalo’s visit to Aso Rock, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the Madagascar’s COVID-19 herbal medicine on Saturday.

While receiving the samples of the traditional medicine from President Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea Bissau at the State House, Abuja, Buhari said his government will listen to science before allowing any medicine to be given to Nigerians.

“We have our institutions, systems and processes in the country. Any such formulations should be sent to them for verification.

“I will not put it to use without the endorsement of our institutions,” he reiterated.
