Don’t Waste Lives And Properties – WPO Nigeria Representative
The Country Representative of the World Peace Organisation (WPO) Prof. Olumuyiwa Babalola has called on the federal and state governments to look into the perpetrating and ongoing hardship to avoid any form of violent protest in Nigeria both now and in the future.
He also pleaded with the organisers of the nationwide protests in Nigeria to give the government more time to “right the wrongs”.
Babalola said that the government should bring down the price of fuel, offer free and affordable education to the masses, fix the roads, give proper wages, profer solution to insecurity, provide electricity, state of emergency should be declared on inflation among others.
However, he appealed for patience by Nigerians for the government to address the country’s challenges and implored all the August 1st protesters to protest in a positive manner to avoid waste of lives and properties.
