Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has left the country to attend the United States of America’s President, Donald J. Trump’s launch: Strategy for Africa, which was unveiled to the public yesterday.
In a statement by Saraki’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuf Olaniyonu, the new United States strategy speaks on more efficient utilisation of United States resources on the continent that it is present.
Meanwhile according to U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of African Affairs, Tibor P. Nagy, Jr, Trump plans will center on bringing more foreign direct investment into Africa and is in cognizance with the Legislative Agenda of the 8th National Assembly which is intended to improve the Nigerian economy through strategic legislation that will aid the promotion of increased involvement of private sector actors.
