Taraba House of Assembly member kidnapped by gunmen
A lawmaker representing Nguroje constituency in Taraba state House of Assembly, Bashir Bape Mohammed has been reportedly kidnapped.
Mohammed was kidnapped from his residence in Jalingo on Tuesday.
Eyewitness reports reveal that the gunmen overpowered vigilante guards around the house and went straight for Mohammed’s room. The forcefully dragged him out of the building and took him away in a convoy of motorcycles.
The bandits seized all mobile phone of residents in the home and shot in the air to rattle them.
