At the conclusion of his attendance at the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where President Tinubu joined fellow African leaders to discuss the continent’s energy access challenges, he asserted Nigeria’s determination to achieve universal access to sustainable, low-cost energy by 2030.

In his speech, delivered by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, President Tinubu firmly declared Nigeria’s unwavering commitment to this Mission, emphasizing that energy access will be a cornerstone of his administration’s agenda.

He further appealed for a collaborative approach among African countries, development partners, and private sector participants, underscoring the need for collective efforts in achieving the ambitious target of universal energy access across Africa by 2030.

Tinubu said, “Let us work together to create a brighter future for our citizens, where every African has access to reliable and affordable energy, where our industries thrive, and our economies grow.”
