Buhari in a meeting with PTF to review lockdown order
As the first two weeks relaxation of the lockdown imposed on Lagos and Ogun States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, rounds off on Monday, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 Pandemic has visited President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday.
The PTF, led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, met the president at the State House.
The visit was to brief the President on measures introduced to control the spread of COVID-19 and the progress recorded in the country.
Recalled the President had on May 4, relaxed the lockdown and replaced it with an 8pm to 6am curfew and a ban on inter-states travels across the country.
It is believed that the presidency may review the success/compliance level of the populace to the regulations and guidelines to decide the next phase of action in order to defeat the pandemic in the country.
Meanwhile, the President will be addressing the nation on Monday evening to affirm the government new position on moving the country forward.
