A Nigerian artiste recognized by his stage name, Dannyyoung, has taken to social media to accuse a fellow artiste of intellectual property theft.
He made it known that he never expected such and at no point thought he would be a victim of intellectual property theft.
Dannyyoung said: “I never knew I would be a victim of intellectual property theft until now. The worst pain is that my song was stolen by Tiwa savage who happens to be one of my favorite female artistes”.
According to the artiste’s claimwhich he shared via a video stated that Tiwa Savage stole his content from a song titled OjuTiwon, which was released 2009.
He also claimed to be surprised that the content was stolen by Savage who is one of his favourite female artistes.
However, the singer’s fans and followers dismiss his accusations by not concurring to it. Many of them stated that the words used in the 2009 song and the new single released by Tiwa Savage is a popular proverb that belongs to no one.
