A horrific incident occurred in Ondo town, Ondo State, as a romantic liaison took a deadly turn, with two lovers reportedly succumbing to electrocution during a sexual encounter.
An eyewitness to the tragic incident revealed that the shocking electrocution took place in the Ayeyemi neighborhood of Ondo town, Ondo State, adding yet another sad chapter to the history of the town.
The report gathered by newsmen revealed that the unidentified middle-aged man, known as Eric, and his equally unidentified lover, were found dead in a new apartment in the area.
In a tragic turn of events, the lifeless bodies of the lovers were reportedly found in an unnatural position, adding to the shock and horror of the discovery.
An anonymous source close to the incident stated that the entwined positioning of their bodies strongly suggests that Eric and his companion were engaged in an intimate encounter at the time of the ill-fated accident.
The dead lovers were said to have been separated by a doctor.
According to the source, “The secret lovers were electrocuted during the sex romp.
“The generator was running in the premises and a phone plugged on a power socket to charge was seen placed on the bed. It might be possible they had contact with a naked wire resulting in their electrocution.”
Another source revealed “The relatives of the deceased man found the lovers dead after they did not answer their phone calls the following day. They looked through a window, spotted the bodies, and broke down the door to enter.”
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident, saying an investigation had commenced into the incident.
