UPDATED: US Election: Donald Trump Wins, returns as 47th President
Former President Donald Trump has won the presidential election held on Tuesday 5 November 2024.
With the results released now, Mr Trump is leading with wide margin winning both in the popular and the electoral college votes.
CNN had predicted, “Donald Trump will win the battleground state of North Carolina, boosting his chances of reclaiming the presidency.”
As at the time of this report, Donald Trump has garnered 279 electoral votes while Kamala Harris secured 223.
