The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye has urged members of the Church who are his true disciples not to be afraid of the threat of the coronavirus pandemic.
Adeboye gave this assurance during his online live Sunday Service message monitored on Facebook.
Speaking on Seven Ways to deal with a mountain, he said true Christians will surely survive the pandemic. He compared the passage of the children of Israel on foot through the Red Sea in the Bible as with a believer digging a tunnel through a mountain.
The cleric urged Christians to trust God because he is in charge and cannot be caught by surprise.
According to him, the Just shall live by faith; he therefore urged them to keep strong faith in the Lord as a means to overcome the virus.
He said, just like other infections, the disease will remain in the world for a while.
“Coronavirus will not disappear completely. Just like flu, Cholera and Ebola, it won’t leave the world completely.
“It will take a special miracle from God for it to leave the world completely. Many people will be grateful to God after this lockdown.
“Relax, the Lord will not fail you,” the man of God declared.
