Our Correction Process

Action: If an error is confirmed, we will amend the article immediately.
Transparency: We will append a “Correction” note at the bottom (or top, depending on severity) of the article. This note will explain what was changed, why it was changed, and the date the correction was made.
Updates vs. Corrections
Updates: When a story is developing and new information becomes available, we update the article. This is a normal part of the news cycle and is typically marked with an “Updated” timestamp.
Corrections: A correction is exclusively used when our original reporting contained a factual mistake that needed to be rectified.
Retractions
