The Ooni of ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Tuesday, November 18, poured encomiums on his son, Tadenikawo, on his fifth birthday, saying he is not only his son, but also a legacy.

Tadenikawo was born on November 18, 2020 and is the son of the Ooni and Prophetess Naomi Silekunola. Incidentally, the mother has since left the palace and she is currently focusing on her Christian ministry and education.

However, the Ooni, in a tribute to his son, posted on his verified X handle, said he sees the promise of tomorrow, the breath of heritage, and the continuation of sacred dynasty in the boy.

He wrote: “Today, my heart overflows with gratitude to Eledumare as I celebrate the fifth birthday of my beloved son, Prince Tadenikawo.

“In you, I see the promise of tomorrow, the breath of heritage, and the continuation of our sacred dynasty. Your laughter brings light to our royal dynasty, and your presence renews my faith in the enduring greatness of our people.

“As you grow in wisdom and stature, may the ancestors guide your steps, and may the Almighty crown your journey with purpose, honour, and divine favour.

“Tadenikawo, you are more than a son, you are a gift, a legacy, and a testament to God’s grace.

“Happy birthday, my prince. Your destiny is blessed, and your path is guided. Long may you live to fulfill the glory that awaits you.”
