Under the provision of the Electoral Act, Presidential and National Assembly elections campaign ends today while the PDP’s Abuja rally is not certain yet.

The two major presidential candidates, President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been able to visit almost every part of the country in search for votes.

Atiku had passed Ogun State on account of the internal crisis that had lately occurred in the state chapter of the party.

On the other hand, APC concludes its campaign rallies in Katsina today while its mega rally took place in Abuja yesterday.

However, the absence of the national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Abuja rally seemed to spell doom for the campaigns.

Meanwhile as at press time yesterday, PDP sources could not confirm rumors that the national mega rally would hold in Abuja today.

The rally was expected to take place yesterday but could not hold base on the incident with the rally of the APC which also held in Abuja.

According to a source close to the party “The party is yet to decide on whether the rally will hold.”

Meanwhile, the main contenders in the presidential elections, President Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of People Democratic Party, PDP will rounding off their campaign in their respective home states of Kastina and Adamawa today.
