She also gives insight into what the next five years holds for her. Excerpts:
Briefly introduce yourself
My name is Deborah Dairo. I am a 500L Nursing Student at Redeemer’s University, Osun State. I am a lover of God and His Word.
I am a Christian writer and I preach about Sexual Purity. I love writing and editing manuscripts.
I am the founder of Yeshua’s Breed. A platform that seeks to raise godly young people who live their lives fulfilling God’s purpose.
How are you able to handle all you do without it interfering with your academics?
Setting priorities have been really helpful.
I make sure I set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly plan for myself and that has helped me to live a balanced life.
When it is academic o’clock especially during examinations, I take a break from all other things and focus.
When I am on break, I use the opportunity to do all other engagements and put things in place.
What did you do to position yourself on the digital space?
One of my hobbies is writing and while growing up, I realized I had to stop keeping my gift of writing to myself and so, I began to put up my write-ups on social media particularly on Facebook.
I learnt that I can get better in writing by writing. So, I started writing even when I did not have a niche. The more I was showing up there, the better I became.

How do you keep up to date in your field?
I keep up to date in the writing field by investing my time, energy and money in learning more about writing. I buy books on writing, I register for courses on writing just to know more and get better. I am a voracious reader. So, I read books a lot.
There are great writers on Facebook that I also follow and learn from.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
In the next five years, I see myself as an international public health nurse, working in Non-governmental organizations and caring for vulnerable population.
In the next five years, I see myself as a global Non-fiction Book Editor – helping writers transform their imperfect manuscripts into perfect books.
In the next five years, I see myself on various platforms preaching about Sexual Purity.
