It was the end of the road for three robbers as they have been arrested by men of the Niger State Police Command shortly after they dispossessed a victim of valuables while he was returning from work.
In fact, during the arrest of the robbers, 24 Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards of different banks believed to have been stolen were recovered in addition to a Point of Sales (POS) machine from them.
The names of the arrested robbers were given as Abubakar Mohammed, aged 24 years; Yusuf Usman, aged 22 years and Ifeanyi Nwabusi, aged 26 years.
It was gathered that operatives of the Bosso Divisional Headquarters of the command received a report that a man who was returning from work was attacked at New-York Bosso by three young men and was robbed of cash, handsets, power bank, wristwatch, two ATM cards and other items.
On receiving the report, the operatives moved to the scene and the three men were arrested.
At the point of their arrest, the items stolen from the man were recovered in addition to 24 ATM cards of different banks as well as a POS machine.
They were said to have given more useful information to the operatives, giving names of some of their accomplices during their interrogation and they will be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation into their nefarious activities.
