The planned nationwide strike by Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has been suspended. The strike which is to protest against the hike in pump price of fuel and electricity tariff was scheduled to kick off today, Monday 28th of September.
Reports from the Federal Government and NLC negotiation indicated that an agreement has been reached by the two parties to suspend the strike for two weeks for more robust review of the issues in contention.
