The results of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council election held on Saturday has been announced with the All Progressives Congress (APC) winning five chairmanship seats and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) having one seat while the African Democratic Congress (ADC), touted to put up a good show at the poll, performed abysmally.
Although results of five of the area councils have been officially announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), that of Kuje area council has two wards to go but with the figures so far, APC has won the council.
APC won in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Bwari, Kwali, Abaji and Kuje (two more wards to be concluded), the PDP won in Gwagwalada.
Below are the figures of five council areas got by the major parties:
