The leadership crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken another twist as the Rivers State chapter of the party has recommended Worgu Boms, a former Commissioner for Justice in the state to replace Victor Giadom as the Deputy National Secretary of the party.
The replacement became necessary according to the National Vice Chairman South South, Hillard Eta, who spoke to newsmen on Saturday at the party’s National Secretariat, that Giadom had resigned in 2019 to contest governorship election as running mate in Rivers State.
He is to replace Hon. Victor Giadom, who resigned in 2018 to contest the 2019 governorship election as a running mate.
A Federal Capital Territory High Court had last Thursday extended its March 17 order allowing Chief Victor Giadom to pilot the affairs of the party for another two weeks.
But the party insisted that former governor of Oyo state, Senator Ajimobi is the acting National Chairman following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole.
