Some bloggers and other writers on Wednesday, August 26, flooded the social media with old photos and video of Kira, daughter of the late Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan alias Ogogo, indicating that she gave birth on Wednesday, three days after her father’s death.
However, information revealed that the photos and video were those of when she gave birth to her son in 2024, two years ago and not her giving birth this week.
When the bloggers and some conventional media posted the photos and video, many Nigerians on social media, without verifying the authenticity of the report, began to congratulate her, with some saying Ogogo did not even wait for seven days before he reincarnated.
One of the bloggers, while even posting the false information with confidence, quoted her as saying “My Daddy’s Carbon Copy,” while another one described the falsehood as “a bittersweet moment for the family.”
Many of their followers, while also celebrating the misinformation, said Babatunde has come, indicating that in Yoruba tradition, the dead has returned as a new baby.
However, despite the fact that some family members who gave them the correct information about the child that was born two years ago, the bloggers have refused to pull down their fake reports as of the time of this report.
