Buhari receives panel’s report on Magu

President Muhammadu Buhari, has received judicial report on probing of Ibrahim Magu, the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry led by retired Justice Ayo Salami has been investigating the activities of EFCC under Magu’s leadership.

This was disclosed in a tweet by the Presidency.

The tweet reads: “NOW: President @MBuhari receiving the report of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry on the Investigation of Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the Acting Chairman, @officialEFCC. Justice Ayo Salami, Chair of the Judicial Commission, presenting the Report. #AsoVillaToday.”

Recall that allegations of corruption and misconduct among others against Magu were raised by the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami which made the president suspended him and subsequently set up the judicial panel to investigate the allegations.
