North-West state, Katsina has recorded the death of the first covid-19 patient.
The state governor, Aminu Bello Masari, who made the announcement on Tuesday said the victim was a Daura based private medical practitioner, Dr. Aminu Yakubu, who recently returned from Lagos to the state.
The governor had on Monday directed that civil servants in the state should resume skeletal service in the state from 10am to 2pm for a period of one week.
