A drug dealer who was said to have stabbed an officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to death while on duty at its area command in Bauchi State and fled has been declared wanted by the agency.

The man, whose name is unknown and said to be between the ages of 20 and 40, was said to have killed the NDLEA officer on duty at the Toro area command by stabbing him with a knife from behind before fleeing from the command.

It was gathered that the man, who is a member of a syndicate involved in drug dealing, was arrested along with other members of the gang and as they were brought to the area command, he brought out a knife, stabbed the officer from behind which led to his instant death. He thereafter fled and his whereabouts remain unknown.

“Anyone who sees this person should report/arrest immediately and hand him over to the nearest NDLEA office, police station or any security agency office that is closer for immediate action,” the NDLEA said in a flyer declaring him wanted.
