FG, states, LGs share ₦1.928 trillion as November allocation

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed a total of ₦1.928 trillion to the federal, state and local governments as federation account revenue for November 2025.

The allocation was approved during the December 2025 FAAC meeting held in Abuja on Monday, December 15.

The distributable revenue was drawn from a gross total of ₦2.343 trillion, after deductions of ₦84.251 billion for cost of collection and ₦330.625 billion for transfers, interventions, and refunds.

Breakdown of the allocations shows the Federal Government getting ₦747.159 billion, state governments, ₦601.731 billion, while local government council get ₦445.266 billion

Apart from this, oil-producing states that are entitled to 13% derivation are to get additional ₦134.355 billion

The ₦1.928 trillion November allocation, according to FAAC, comprised distributable statutory revenue: ₦1.403 trillion, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) ₦485.838 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), ₦39.646 billon.

The meeting noted a moderate increase in Excise Duty, but substantial decreases in Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Hydrocarbon Tax (HT), Companies Income Tax (CIT) on upstream activities, oil and gas royalties, import duty, CET levies, VAT, EMTL, and other fees.
