The Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the Edo governorship election, Godwin Obaseki is reported to be leading in the election with reasonable margin according to a source.

Former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has predicted victory for Edo Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
In his post on Twitter Saturday night, the media mogul congratulated Obaseki on what he described as an “anticipated victory”.
He said the election was keenly contested.
“I congratulate @GovernorObaseki of the @OfficialPDPNig on a well-contested election, and most importantly on the clear cut anticipated victory. #EdoDecides”, he tweeted.
