The head of Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, Pope Francis has declared that homosexuals have right to family and are children of God.
Pope Francis support for Lesbian and Gay couples was made known in a new documentary titled ‘Francesco and premiered at the Rome Film Festival on Wednesday.
Catholic News Agency quoted the Pope as saying, “Homosexual people have a right to be in a family.
“They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable over it.”
“What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered,” he added.
Homosexuality is considered sinful in Christianity but agitations for civil recognition by Homosexual people have forced many developed nations to accede to their demands.
