The candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, Chioma Ifemeludike, has expressed her determination to win the election, saying she is the candidate to beat.
The candidate, who has already started referring to herself as “Her Excellency,” disclosed this in a post on her X handle, saying nothing will stop her victory at the poll.
She is contesting against 16 candidates from other political parties, including the current governor, Professor Charles Soludo, who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Displaying her photographs and sounding boisterous, Ifemeludike said she is the flag bearer of the AAC, a party formed by the activist, Omoyele Sowore, adding that she is set to take over the leadership of the state after winning the November 8 election.
“I am the flag bearer of the AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS (AAC) and I’m proud to say that I’m the best candidate on the November 8, Anambra Gubernatorial election. The light house is about to be lit,” she disclosed.
She had earlier in a post challenged Soludo to a public debate, saying the governor should tell everyone what he did with trillions of naira he received during his over three months as the governor of the state.
She wrote: “I have nothing to hide, let the man who had 3 years and months to govern Anambra State, with trillions of naira from our state treasury, tax collected from market women, children hawking the streets step out for a public debate.”
