The All Progressive Congress (APC) member and House of Representatives lawmaker, Honourable Abdulmumin Jubrin, has reacted to the attendance of President Muhammadu Buhari at the National Assembly for 2019 budget preparation.
He said: “It takes courage for a president to go to NASS and present the budget during a period of bad politics and sharp divide across party lines.”
In a brief appraisal post available on his verified Twitter handle, @AbdulAbmj, the Kano lawmaker praised the president, adding that his performance, in spite of the present political situation shows his courage and leadership endurance.
He, however, applauded the president for his sense of maturity and reasoning during the presentation and according to him “It was a show of extreme courage by @MBuhari to have gone ahead and did excellent as well. If you think it’s a tea party, ask his predecessors.”
