Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, has urged the Muslim faithful to show love to the less privileged in society during the month of Ramadan.

Muri-Okunola in a statement congratulated the Muslim faithful, especially the Lagos State civil servants for witnessing another month of Ramadan.

He however implored all Muslim faithful to imbibe the teachings of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) of consistent prayers and an excellent way of life that encourages peaceful coexistence with others.

“Everyone should dedicate time in prayer for peace, unity, and economic stability of our country, Nigeria, and pray for a prosperous month ahead,” Muri-Okunola said.

Muri-Okunola prayed that Almighty Allah will grant everyone good health, blessings of this month, mercies of this month, and goodness in this world and the next.

He added that the holy month of Ramadan is a time for Muslims to rededicate their lives to prayer and devotion to the Almighty Allah.
