Mailafia honours DSS third invitation

An ex- Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr Obadiah Mailafia on Monday honoured the invitation from the Department of State Security (DSS) at the third time.

Speaking with journalists on arrival, Mailafia said “I am ready to perish for speaking the mind of millions of Nigerians over the incessant killings of innocent citizens going on presently in the country.”

The Former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in the 2019 presidential election was cheered by many of his supporters who were present at the DSS headquarters.

He said “I don’t know why I have been invited again this is the 3rd time that they are inviting me to their office and I am honouring it.”

“There has not been any instance that warrants any crisis in the country after the interview which I granted a radio station in Lagos,” he added.

Mailafia arrived the DSS headquarters at about 11am for another round of interrogation over allegation he made that a sitting Governor in the north is a commander of the Boko Haram sect .
