Following its Nigeria’s launch early 2022, Nissan Navara has attracted a significant patronage from the federal government of Nigeria and corporate sector, Stallion NMN Limited, the nation’s exclusive representative of the Nissan brand, has revealed.

The company’s General Manager, Amit Sharma made the disclosure in a statement, adding that as at the end of fourth quarter, the sale of Nissan Navara has performed better than expected.

According to him, aside government patronage, the truck is gaining equal popularity with construction companies, fleet operators and individuals.

The GM attributed Navara’s success to its unprecedented levels of dynamic styling, luxury interior comfort, latest connectivity, and all-terrain driver safety technology.

He said, “Moreover, our customers confirm the supple city-cruising and excellent off-road capability of the new Navara, which is built in Africa for African conditions.

“They know that, compared with its rivals, Navara is unique for coming with the comfort of a saloon for city cruise and strength of an SUV in an off-road or rough road terrain.

“From feedbacks we received since launched into the Nigerian market, Navara has served the nation’s customers with the best of what Nissan has to offer in one package, talking about ruggedness, toughness, smartness and style as well as premium comfort, all at a price that provides great value for money.”

Built to conquer the tropical strain of the sub-Sahara Africa, the statement added. The new Navara on sale in Nigeria is built on more than 85 years of Nissan pickup heritage, representing the pinnacle of the company’s experience in building tough and reliable pickups.

“In compliance with the promise we made during the launch, customers have been offered a comprehensive range, including double cabin 4×2 and the boldly styled and technologically advanced, all-tough NAVARA PRO-4X.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.5L petrol engine, also available with an impressive power output 125KW, 244 Nm torque,  the Navara on sale in Nigeria comes with a strengthened rear axle and improved truck bed volume, making it the ultimate worksite partner, ready to take on any challenges whilst still offering optimal room and comfort.

“Added to the pickup’s safety is Intelligent Around View Monitor (Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection), which uses four mounted cameras to help drivers notice people and cars surrounding and approaching the vehicle. This enables easier maneuvering when performing tasks such as parallel parking and positioning of the vehicle during trailer hitching.

“And like all Nissan vehicles, the Navara is sold in Nigeria with extended peace of mind warranty and guaranteed after-sales support from our dealerships located across the country,” Sharma added.
