The Oyo State Police Command says it has arrested four men in connection with a burglary at a glass production company in Ibadan.
Police said the incident occurred on September 17, when armed intruders attacked the premises and were intercepted following a swift response to a distress call.
The suspects – Dennis Emmanuel (28), David Nsank (26), Oyebanji Quadri (27) and Olatunji Michael (25) – were arrested on-site. Officers recovered stolen tools including a sledgehammer and hacksaws. The men reportedly confessed to the crime.
Command officials stressed that small businesses remain vital to the state’s economy and assured entrepreneurs of continued protection. They urged business owners to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activity to security agencies.
