Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman, has completed his medicals ahead of a 40 million euros move from Atalanta in Italy to Atletico Madrid in Spain.
Lookman arrived in Spain on Sunday to undergo medical tests and the club posted his photograph during the medical tests on its X handle on Monday, February 2.
Atalanta and Atletico reached an agreement on Saturday for the 28-year-old, with the deal comprising a 35 million euros fixed fee and 5 million euros in performance-related add-ons.
According to La Repubblica, Lookman has agreed to a four-year contract worth 7 million euros per season, representing a salary increase of over 300 per cent from the £2.13m he earned annually in Italy.
The club, in the statement wrote: “Lookman passed the medical examination at the High-Performance Sports Medicine Centre @cm_invictum of the University Hospital @Vithas Madrid Arturo Soria.”
