Saudi, Chinese investors visits Gombe
The Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Yahaya has promised to provide enabling environment for prospective investors interested in the state.
The governor gave this assurance when he met with a joint team of Saudi and Chinese investors at the Government House.
The meeting was facilitated by the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III.
Their discussion centred on exploring business and investment opportunities in Gombe state, especially in the areas of Agriculture, financing, mining, education and social services.
Governor Yahaya told his visitors that Gombe state has huge potentials in agriculture, especially irrigation and livestock production as well as solid minerals, power, commerce and other sectors of the economy with a promise of good returns on investment.
The Governor who said Gombe state is ranked 6th amongst the 36 states of the federation in terms of ease of doing business, promised to provide enabling environment for investors, especially with the planned establishment of an industrial park in the state.
The team of investors was led by a frontline Saudi businessman, Hani Bukhari.
