A transformation coach, Sommy Wonder, has urged youths to be front line of creating sustainable and innovative change for the advancement of humanity.
Sommy said this at a one-day Awake conference convening for youngsters below the age of 30 with the purpose of gather around the kind of knowledge that will catalyze their personal transformation and equip them to become audacious change makers.
Awake conference, 2022 took place in Awka, Anambra and the theme, The Rise of Audacious Change Makers. This conference was borne out of Sommy’s compelling view of the world.
She stated: “I see a world where young people are at the FRONT LINE of creating sustainable and innovative change for the advancement of humanity.
There is an EMERGENCE that is coming and has started. It is rise of DARING and AUDACIOUS young people with cutting-edge answers to pressing problems in our communities and cities.
These people will trigger revival across different spheres of influence and by revival I mean birthing and establishing systems and programmes that elevate the quality of human life”.
Global speakers namely Dr. Mike Oladipo, Debola Deji-Kurunmi, Gusi Tobby were the thought leaders who spoke at the conference, inspiring greatness in the minds of the attendees.
In recognition of her work of taking the lead and showing the coming generation the way to purposeful living, she was honoured with a LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AWARD by her almamater, the prestigious MOGi Global Leadership School on the same day.
Acknowledging the award, Sommy said, “this particular award is dear to my heart because my training at MOGi Global Leadership School has largely contributed to the Global lady I am today. I am a living legacy of the meticulous work the provost Dr. Mike Oladipo is doing through this school to raise global leaders who will be at the frontline of true transformation across the continents of the world”.
