T 20 World Cup: Pakistan cricket national players join domestic team
After the second negative Covid 19 tests, twenty one members of the men’s national team who toured England for three different tests and T20’s has joined their respective First XI sides in Multan today.
Out of the twenty one players, the second covid 19 tests results of three are expected to be out by tomorrow.
The names of these 21 players are;
Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Fakhar zaman, Haider Ali, HarisRauf,Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Imran Khan Snr,Kashif Bhatti, Sohail Khan, Shadab Khan, Usman Khan Shinwari, Yasir Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi Shoaib Malik, Naseem Shah, Mohammed Rizwan, Mohammed Amir
Mohammed Hasnain, Mohammed Hafeez, Mohammed abbas.
The names of those awaiting their second covid 19 test results are
Sarfaraz Ahmed, Captain Sindh, and Kamran Akmal. Kamram would undergo his second test later today while Sarfaraz had his second test earlier today.
A player belonging to the first XI squad who has been isolated after his first Covid 19 test coming out positive will be qualified to join his team after clearing his third test which will take place on 30 September.
After clearing his Covid 19 test, Sohail Tanvir who took part in the carribean premier league joined Northern.
Fawad Alam, who also explored England with the national squad and is directing Sindh second XI has merged his side in Lahore after returning from his second negative test for Covid 19.
The National T20 cup for the second XI teams will be played at lahore’s Gaddafi stadium commencing on the 1st of October to the 8th of October, 2020. While the National T20 cup for the first XI tournament, curtain raiser will commence on the 30th of September, 2020.
