President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restated his commitment to national unity and inclusive development, pledging that no region will be left behind in his administration’s infrastructural and economic agenda.

In a statement released on Sunday, the President said his oath of office compels him to serve all Nigerians equally, a principle he said is reflected in the wide spread of ongoing and proposed federal projects across the country.

He highlighted key initiatives ranging from road and rail construction to power generation, healthcare renewal, and job creation. Among them are the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway in the South, the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway in the North, the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail line in the East, and the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway in the central region. The Trans-Saharan Highway, linking Nigeria to other African countries, also features prominently in the administration’s plans.

On health, Tinubu disclosed that centres across the federation are undergoing rehabilitation, while on transport, light rail projects in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Ogun States have received federal approval. He added that over 250,000 jobs are being created through ongoing programmes.

The President further pointed to the revival of the 255MW power plant in Kaduna as part of efforts to restore reliable electricity supply. He noted that bridges in Onitsha and Bonny are reconnecting communities, while oil exploration activities have expanded in Bauchi and Gombe States. The Ajaokuta–Kaduna–Kano (AKK) gas pipeline, he said, has successfully crossed the River Niger, marking a milestone for the project.

“These are not local trophies; they are our national assets,” Tinubu said, insisting that every farmer, trader, child, and patient stands to benefit from the Renewed Hope agenda.

He assured citizens that “no Nigerian is second class, no region is left behind,” urging them to “bet on Nigeria” as the government pursues a vision of shared prosperity.

“Together we will rise as one nation, one people, and one destiny,” the President declared.
