A woman on Thursday, October 15, lamented over how her children’s school was given one day to vacate the premises allegedly on the orders of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.
The woman, Elizabeth Gaskell, while lamenting over the situation, alleged that the premises of the school, Christian Community School, Agadez, Wuse 2, had been handed over to a new developer who plans to demolish it and build new structures on it.
She added that officials of the Federal Capital Territory Development Association cited defective buildings as one of the reasons given for the school management to vacate the premises that has been there for about two decades.
She wrote: “Wike has just given my children’s school one day to vacate the premises so that the new developers can demolish it and build structures, citing that the building is defective. In the middle of a school term for that matter
.
.“The name of the school is Christian Community school, Agadez, Wuse 2. It has been there for about two decades.”
She also posted the demolition notice from the FCTA authorities.”
