The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has reacted to the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa as he calls for peace.

The General overseer via his verified Twitter handle, @PastorEAAdeboye, on Wednesday urge Nigerians to put an end to violence and embrace peace.

The tweet read, “Please shun Violence, its dividends last a lifetime. Let us all embrace peace and remember that regardless of our race, color or language, we are all of God. #saynotoxenophobia.”

Meanwhile Nigerians on social media had called on their fellow citizens to boycott South African products and services in Nigeria as a form of retaliation for the violence against other Nigerians in South Africa
