A son has been caught by the authorities of the Federal Capital Territory while writing promotion examination for his father who works at the Federal Fire Service of the territory.
The 33-year-old son, Monsuru Musa, was caught on Wednesday, October 7, being the third day of promotion exercise being conducted by the FCT Civil Service Commission while writing the examination for his father, Mohammed Musa.
It was gathered that the security operatives deployed to the examination venue at the instance of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, caught Monsuru Musa writing the examination and when interrogated, he claimed that his father was sick but within the premises of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) venue of the exercise.
He was said to have told the security operatives that he was directed by the father to sit for the examination on his behalf.
Asked how old his father is, he said he is between 67 to 68, but when the father was later seen and was questioned, he claimed he would be 60 by February 202.
The father also said he completed secondary school in 1982 and primary school in 1977.
Meanwhile, both the father and the son have been handed over to the police for further investigations after they have made their statements to the operatives.
