According to experts, Arthritis is a broad term encompassing over 100 conditions that affect the joints and surrounding tissues. It’s characterised by inflammation, pain, stiffness, and limited mobility and symptoms may include joint pain and stiffness, swelling and redness, limited mobility, morning stiffness, fatigue, among others.
However, while responding to her follower, Aisha Yesufu said contrary to the belief that it is an ailment of old age, she was diagnosed of Arthritis at the age of 15 which the doctors described as “Juvenile Arthritis.”
She wrote: “I have lived with pain literally all my life and I thought pain was normal until during EndSARS when the pain was so unbearable that my doctors gave me Cocodamol and for the first time, I was pain free.
“After the prescription finished, I refused another because I didn’t want to be addicted to the drug. Arthritis is not just for the old people.”
