Arsenal Football Club is demanding £8m for Nigerian teenager, Folarin Balogun.

The 19-year-old striker has refused to sign a new contract with the Gunners after failing to get a first team space in Nicholas Arteta’s squad.

His current contract with Arsenal will last till 2021 when he would be a free agent.

Meanwhile the Gunners’ price is considered high for Balogun who is eyed by Brentford.

Brentford, who are one game away from the Premier League, had tried to sign him in January but could not agree a deal with Arsenal.

He is highly regarded at other clubs in the Premier League and has been tracked by the likes of Liverpool, as well as teams in Germany.

Balogun banged in 10 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances for Arsenal’s U23s this season, and is a high priority among the Bees’ targets along with Peterborough’s Ivan Toney.

Osimhen joins Napoli

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has left French Ligue One club Lille, to join Serie A’s Napoli on Friday.

Osimhen, 21, scored 18 times last season and was one of the revelations of France’s curtailed campaign.

Napoli go into their final match of the season against Lazio knowing they will finish seventh in Serie A. They have qualified for the group stage of the Europa League by virtue of winning the Italian Cup.
