Following measures in place in states across the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) said it put on hold its activities.
The president of the guild, Emeka Rollas, who disclosed this on Friday, said that although movie productions were the exclusive preserves of executive producers, the guild was making efforts to liaise with them in order to cancel production for at least three weeks.
He further stated that AGN was already engaging producers in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the directive by the Lagos state government that people should not gather anywhere more than 50.
