Yesterday, Lagos recorded another dead of a COVID-19 patient.
The victim, 32, was one of the 256 Nigerians evacuated by the federal government on May 6 from the United Arab Emirates.
Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof Akin Abayomi announced this on Tuesday.
He said: “The deceased recently returned from Dubai with severe underlying health conditions following evacuation of Nigerians in foreign countries by @DigiCommsNG.
“I urge Lagosians to remain committed to rules guiding COVID-19 infection prevention regardless of relaxation of lockdown,” he said.
Meanwhile, the total COVID-19 related death in Lagos is now 34.
