The Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Business Day Newspapers,  Frank Aigbogun had earlier in the notice of award, said the award committee found Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s administration worthy of commendation in rural development,  primary healthcare and agricultural development in addition to its human capital development strides.

With education seen as the means and sure way to economic emancipation, the award committee commended Gombe state Governor for setting the bar and placing the people on the pedestal of sustainable growth and glorious future.

The organisers believe that the fiscal adjustment measures put in place by the Governor to reduce cost of governance are steps in the right direction, lauding the administration to bolster its priority projects and programmes meant to alleviate poverty and enhance economic emancipation of the citizenry.
