Kira Taiwo, daughter of the late veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, continues to mourn the actor’s demise, expressing her desire for him to meet her second baby.
In an emotional tribute on her Instagram page on Thursday, September 3, expressing her grief following the passing of her father, Kira shared how difficult it has been to cope with the loss and expressed sadness over his absence.
“My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her unfulfilled wish before his demise, she expressed sadness that her father did not get to meet her unborn child, noting that she desperately wished for more time with him.
“I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby. Thank you ooo TAIYE,” she added.
Her latest tribute comes days after she shared a message exchange with her father dated July 26 before his death, where the late actor urged her to remain strong and refrain from crying.
“How are you? I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think. Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess,” the message read.
Recall that the late veteran actor died on August 23 at the age of 66 following a battle with stage-four cancer.
The news of his death was announced by his daughter, Kira, during an Instagram Live session. “My daddy is dead. I can’t believe it,” she said.
Ogogo’s death came hours after his daughter, Kira, had spoken publicly about the challenges surrounding her father’s illness and accused some individuals of attempting to profit from the family’s difficult situation.
