President Muhammadu Buhari said he has spent all his life for Nigeria unity. Buhari made this statement in his speech delivered during the June 12 Democracy Day held at Eagle Square, Abuja.

In honour of late Moshood Kasimawo Olawale Abiola, he renamed the Abuja National stadium as MKO Abiola National Stadium.

Other Highlights of his speech include:
To integrate farming
To improve the life of people
To address the case of climate change
To improve economic productivity
To provide conditional cash transfer to the vulnerable and poor in the society
To continue school feeding
To reduce the level of economic inequality to guarantee security.

Inequality breeds corruption; so rural economy will be developed
To promote small businesses
To acknowledge investment in Tertiary education
To reposition the economy
To improve infrastructure
To improve medical facilities
To ensure electricity is available and affordable to all Nigerians
To re-open the axis of transportation nationwide
Buhari promised to clamp down on those who will incite ordinary people for violence and not to tolerate those who want to enrich themselves at the detriment of others.
