Men of the Adamawa State Police Command are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding how a man killed his own father and threw his body inside well.
The man, Peter Sinamai, aged 30 years, a resident of Sangere Gombi Local Government Area of the state, was said to have used an object to hit his father during a domestic dispute which led to the death of the old man.
It was gathered that a report was received by police operatives after the man’s death which made the officers to race to the scene of the incident. The father was rushed to the hospital where doctors on duty confirmed him dead on arrival.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect allegedly killed his father and disposed of the body in a well within their community,” the command said in a statement on Friday, August 7.
The arrested son has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for more investigation and he is expected to be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
